To accommodate their schedules, ambassadors can set their own availability for shifts and tasks. They will only receive email and app push notifications during their designated available hours, ensuring they are not overwhelmed with notifications at inconvenient times. Additionally, ambassadors can configure a separate schedule specifically for chat availability. We recommend setting this to 24 hours so that they receive chat notifications instantly and can respond at their earliest convenience, helping to maintain timely and engaging conversations with prospective students.

What are recurring shifts? How do they work?

Recurring shifts are designed to simplify scheduling for tasks that happen on a regular basis—whether daily, weekly, monthly, or at other consistent intervals. Instead of manually creating the same shift multiple times, administrators can set up a recurring shift just once. These shifts can either be assigned to specific ambassadors or groups or left open for ambassadors to claim. Ambassadors whose availability matches the scheduled shift will receive notifications, ensuring that open shifts are filled efficiently without unnecessary administrative effort.
