How administrators connect an AI assistant to CampusThreads
Connect an approved AI client with a time-limited token tied to one administrator.

Open: Admin portal → Account Settings → AI Assistant Access.
What to do
- Select New Token and give the connection a recognizable name.
- Generate the token, then copy it right away because the secret appears once.
- Add it to the supported AI client using the CampusThreads connection guide.
- Test a read-only question before requesting an operational action.
- Review Last Used and revoke each lost or unused connection.
Details
- Tokens expire after 90 days and are tied to the administrator account that created them.
- Keep each token in the approved client or credential store.
- Approved production administrators can issue external MCP credentials.
