How to embed the CampusThreads prospect chat widget
Add CampusThreads to an approved school website and test the full prospect experience.
School administrators
Open: Admin portal → Widget Customization → Security and the implementation details supplied for your organization.
What to do
- Add the production website domain to the widget allowlist.
- Copy the organization-specific embed snippet from the approved implementation source.
- Place the snippet once in the website template or tag-management location agreed with your web team.
- Publish the website change and test the widget on the exact allowed domain.
- Validate ambassador profiles, prospect questions, human chat, privacy links, mobile behavior, and any configured content before launch.
Details
- Keep tokens and administrator credentials private when adding website code.
- If a content management system removes script tags, ask the web team to use its approved custom-code mechanism.
